How do we view what life is ?

What is our expectation on how our life should be? 

Type-1: Life should be bed of roses. Life should be to enjoy. Life should be easy. 

Type-2: Life is an opportunity to face challenges and for learning. Life is an opportunity for learning. 

Where as Reality is : Life is not easy for anyone. Life throws up difficult problems for everyone constantly. There is no time to relax. 

People who subscribe to the Type-1 viewpoint, will suffer and be disappointed when they face life. 

People who subscribe to Type-2 viewpoint, will not be disappointed with life, because they have no expectations of pleasure from life. They look at life objectively as a challenge to be solved, and most importantly learn how to face challenges in life with smile. 

Type-2 understanding is closer to reality.
