Arise, awake, and find out the great wise ones and learn from them; for sharp as a razor's edge, hard to traverse, difficult of going is that path, say the sages.
Uttishthata means "Arise" or "Get up". In a spiritual sense, it is a call to rise from the slumber of ignorance and Maya (the illusion of the material world).
Jaagratha means "Awake". It is a command to be vigilant and conscious of one's true, divine self, rather than being hypnotized by the materialistic aspects of life.
Prapya varaan means "by approaching the great (teachers)". The word vara here refers to a worthy or excellent person, a knowledgeable teacher, or a preceptor.
Nibodhata means "learn" or "realize". It is an instruction to gain enlightenment or spiritual knowledge from a learned and wise
Guys,
Life is precious. Use it to gain Atmajnana, wisdom, Self-knowledge. The path of enlightenment is like a razor's edge. Approach a wise man and learn Self-knowledge, Atmajnana.
