Balance of mind

 Sri Sadgurubhyoh Namah

Guruji,

The central idea seems to be 'irrespective of external circumstances, one should be peaceful, joyful n cheerful '. This seems an uphill task. I get disturbed by external happenings. I know that abide as Self is balance. But, with open eyes mind gets bombarded by ceaseless external inputs, which will drag mind into various ways.

How to overcome this distraction? Even with eyes open, how to stay grounded?

Spend some time daily in meditation on Ajna chakra and Brahma Randhra.
