Sri Sadgurubhyoh Namah
I am chetana, Atma, spirit and different from body. This wisdom is called conquering death.
Death is only for the body. Associating with the body due to ignorance, jiva thinks that he is dying, when prana leaves the body and suffers death.
On the physical death of the body, why should anybody worry ?
There can be different possibilities regarding life and death,
1) jiva takes another body (including yatana deha for hell, or another human or animal forms) and suffers another life
2) jiva goes into higher lokas and lives with deities happily till pralaya and attains krama mukti with Brahma
3) If jivanmukti happens, where is the question of taking another body ? even, if there is residual karma and a body is taken, the wisdom will be there that body is different to Atma. Physical death does not affect the jivanmukta. This is called 'conquering the death', as mentioned in mrityunjaya story and mantra.
Death (Yama) has control over me, only if I am afraid that I am dying. As it is not 'I' who is dying , but the body, Yama has no control over me.
