Mahabharata Sabhaparva section-64
Sri Sadgurubhyoh Namah
Game of dice continues. Wily Sakuni asks Yudhistir, you have lost lot of wealth, what is your next stake. Yudhistir says 'I am staking all my wealth which cannot be counted'. Sakuni casts dice and says 'Lo, I have won'.
Yudhistir loses all his wealth, kine, horses, soldiers, princess, and finally he, his brothers are left.
Yudhistir stakes Nakula, Sahadeva, Arjuna, and Bhima and himself one after the other and loses to the decietful game of dice by Sakuni.
Sakuni says, O King, Draupadi is still left for you. Play one more game with Draupadi as stake and win back all that you have lost. Yudhistir says, 'I am staking Draupadi'. Sakuni gleefully casts dice and says 'Lo, I have won'.
Yudhistir thus loses all that he has in that game of dice, and he along with his brothers become slaves.
