Vidura's advice against game of dice

Mahabharata Sabhaparva section 60-63
Sri Sadgurubhyoh Namah
Vidura, the wise minister of Dhritarastra, could not contain himself at the injustice of unfair game of dice, and gave the following counsel to King.
O King, Duryodhana your son, will bring the destruction of your race. When he is born, jackals and donkeys were braying, indicating that he will be the cause of the destruction. I adviced you then to abandon him. I am giving the same advice now, abandon him, and embrace Pandavas. Get tigers in exchange for jackal. For the sake of family, a member may be sacrificed, for the sake of village a family may be sacrificed, for the sake of a province a village may be sacrificed, and for the sake of one's soul entire earth can be sacrificed. Like a flower-seller, who plucks flowers from plants day-by-day, you also prosper from pandavas, do not try to squeeze everything out of them. Stop the unfair game of dice, and do not look to earn wealth by this means. You have enormous wealth for yourself.
Durodhana replies to Vidura : O Kshatta, do not praise our foes. your loyalties lies with Pandavas, and we all know that. We have heard enough of your harsh words. There is only one controller, who controls even the baby in the womb. I am controlled by such force. Water flows in downward direction. Similarly I am acting exactly as directed by that one controlling force. Go where you want to go, we do not want to listen to your counsel.
Vidura then appeals to King Dhritarastra to listen to him and stop the play. But having failed to convince king, he keeps silent.
