Mahabharata Sabhaparva Sisupala-vadha parva section 38-44
Sri Sadgurubhyoh Namah
Sisupala then insults Bhishma with words, saying that he is misleading Pandavas into believing that Krishna is the foremost. He instigates few kings to destroy the sacrifice and ritual. Yudhistir asks Bhishma, what needs to be done. Bhishma says that the end of Sisupala is near, so he is ranting like that. Bhima could not control his anger, but Bhishma tells him to calm down and narrates the birth of Sisupala to him.
when Sisupala was born , he had three eyes, four arms. The king of chedi and queen were terrified at this. An incorporeal voice then tells them that Sisupala will grow to be a strong man and the person who will be his death is also born. The queen requests the invisible voice, how to recognise the killer of Sisupla. The voice tells them that, If this child's extra hands and extra eye vanishes by the touch of a person, then that person will kill him.
All the kings around the chedi kingdom, came and touch the boy, but his extra organs didnt drop off. When Krishna touches him, the extra hands and eye vanish. Then the queen who is also the aunt of krishna asks a boon from Krishna that he will tolerate 100 mistakes by Sisupala. Krishna grants the boon, so he is not taking action against Sisupala.
Bhishma then tells the assembled Kings and Sisupala, "We can argue endlessly about who is the foremost, but let us not argue, those who approve, can keep quiet, those who dont , challenge Krishna for a battle."
The Sisupala challenges Krishna for battle. SriKrishna then thinks of his weapon, the discuss. He hurls it at Sisupala and beheads him. A bright light comes out of Sisupala's body and merges with Krishna.
