Play of Dice

Mahabharata Sabhaparva section-47
Sri Sadgurubhyoh Namah

King Dhritarashtra orders for a palace to be constructed for playing dice, and asks Vidura to go to Indraprasta and invite King Yudhistir for a game of dice. When Vidura conveys this message to Yudhistir, he says, "It is a well known fact that, game of dice will end with arguments, quarrel etc. Who will play game of dice knowning that. But I have taken a vow to play dice if somebody challenges me. Nobody can surpass fate, so I will attend".
Yudhistir along with his brothers and Draupadi, reaches Hastinapore. They greet all the elders, and retire to their rooms.
Next day they enter the palace where dice will be played. They see Sakuni, and other cheats there already assembled.
