Sri Sadgurubhyoh Namah
Dear Guruji,
Gita : At the time of death, the predominant thought determines the next life.
This is true even while alive and in daily life..
Mind keeps on generating many thoughts. Following a thought , takes one to live and experience that thought, for that period of time, as we hold on to that thought, and come back to follow another thought.
The practice that one should do lifelong is to observe all thoughts and not to follow any of them. So, at the time of death also, many thoughts bombard the consciousness, but due to the lifelong practice of vairagya (dispassion), none of the thoughts are followed and one avoids the samsara.
Pls validate this understanding.
Prabhuji's reply : Yes
