Duryodhana insulted

Mahabharata Sabhaparva section 46
Sri Sadgurubhyoh Namah
Duryodhana stays back in Indraprastha and observes the Mayasabha (Palace of illusion) and the prosperity of Yudhistir. In that Mayasabha, Duryodhan falls into water fountain mistaking it to be a carpet. Arjuna, Bhima, Nakula and Sahadeva all laugh at him. Duryodhan feels insulted, and returns to Hastinapore with his uncle Sakuni.
On the way he doesnt speak anything nor answers Sakuni's talk. Sakuni then asks Duryodhan as to what is on his mind. Duryodhan says, "The insult to me , and also the prosperity of Yudhisitir robs me of peace. I am jealous of Yudhistir. Who can be at peace when their foes are in prosperity. I will kill myself, as I am not able to bear Yudhistir's success". Sakuni says "You need not kill yourself, nor need to go to war with Yudhistir, I am an expert at playing game of dice. If challenged to war or to a game of dice, Yudhistir will not refuse, even though he is not good at playing dice. Challenge him to dice game, and I can get all his wealth". Duryodhana then asks Sakuni to tell Dhritarashtra all this, and get permission to play dice with Yudhistir. Dhritarashtra approves for dice game, when told of all this scheme.
